High Access Rescue Team, enquired whether it would be possible for them to come onboard the Noble Ton van Langeveld while we were stacked in Invergordon.
the rig provided an ideal environment for our team to practice their techniques, and at the same time they would give basic training to our crews, which would be beneficial from the rig’s safety awareness.
The training was very thorough and all participants took part with real enthusiasm resulting in valuable knowledge being passed on in a very professional manner. In twenty nine years offshore I have never seen a group of instructors and their class so obviously enjoying taking part in such an intensive and arduous training session.
I have no doubt that thanks to the H.A.R.T. team we now have the best trained rescue teams on any rig in the Oil Industry.
